Please note that packaged tours means joining other tourists in Yangon to the destinations of Lake Inle, Bagan, Mandalay to make up the number of tourists to make the tour inexpensive.
Packaged tours are less expensive and are NOT customised tours. Therefore, please do not quote as "customised tours" which are specially arranged for tourists who want to have their own tour guide and car, away from other tourists and are much more expensive.
The quotation I am asking for is for "packaged tours" starting from Yangon. Pl email to me if you need further queries.

25. Quotation for 50 people from a company in Singapore - Seminar in Yangon
UPDATE:
In Myanmar, there are 2 types of hotel operators. One is licensed to operate the hotel for the locals and the other is licensed for tourists.
4-star hotel accommodation is in great demand nowadays as the supply is low. It is sometimes not possible to secure a booking for 50 people in one particular hotel. However, Sedona Hotel has the place.
Hotels want 50% deposit as the following email shows.
E-MAIL FROM MYANMAR TO DESIGN TRAVEL PTE LTD DATED JUN 6, 2012
We check room availability for 50 people in one hotel and there is Sedona Hotel available for your group. But we have to give our confirmation to Sedona sooner to keep the room in safe condition due to tight booking of this year.
For your information, at the time of room confirmation, Sedona ask us for 50% deposit to make secure the booking.
So, could it be possible for you to pay 30% deposit of total payment at the time of your confirmation?

22. Jun 5, 2012. Myanmar Seminar for 40 Singaporeans in Oct 2012
The following are quotations for customised Myanmar tourism from Design Travel Pte Ltd for 40 Singaporeans (twin-sharing) for company retreat in Myanmar
1. 40 PEOPLE WANTING TO HOLD A SEMINAR IN MYANMAR IN OCT 2012
Day 1: Arrive at Yangon
Day 2: Yangon - Heho - Inle Lake (flight+car+boat)
Day 3: Inle - Heho - yangon (evening flight+boat+car).
Day 4: Yangon Sightseeing+Departure
There has no room especially for Seminar at all of the hotels in Inle lake.
But they can arrange for you at dinning room and will levy some charges.
As your group is 40 persons, it will not easy to get the rooms at the same hotel as hotel booking are so tight this year.
You may have to staying separately at two or three hotels. This year, all of the hotels asking for deposit 50 % at the time of booking confirmation to be able to make secure the room because of tight booking.
We can arrange this trip with US$ 500 /pax for 40 persons.
The above excludes Ygn-Sin international airfares, meals and visa application which we can do. I will recommend Lake Inle as the atmosphere is so much serene compared to the concrete harried lifestyle of Singapore. Your people will appreciate it as it is neutral (no religion).
I have asked quotation for Yangon + Golden Rock for you as time seems to be short but in this case, you get to see the most famous of Myanmar's sights without having to fly by domestic flight. Pictures of the Golden Rock are at my website, www.designtravelpl.com
Best wishes.
COMPANIES NEED TO PROVIDE THEIR SEMINAR PROGRAM
AS IT IS QUITE DIFFICULT TO KNOW WHEN THEY ARE CONDUCTING THE SEMINAR.
In the above example, the Seminar will be conducted on Day 3 as the people will arrive at Inle Lake at 1 pm on Day 2. Day 2 may be the day the company wants to conduct the Seminar.
